Meet the RWF horses!
All are used in conjunction with Habilitation counseling and as general lesson horses.
Costs for each are approximately $200/month that includes hay, grain, bedding, farrier, and annual shots.
Some require greater care than others due to age or past injury.
If you wish to sponsor a horse for the day week or month click on the donation sponsor button below your choice and add the amount you wish to contribute.
Current General Needs:
Jovie is hands down one of the best girls you'll ever know. She's got some special needs, but her hear far out weighs anything she might be dealing with. She's beautiful inside and out.
Tippy our mighty mini is an 8 yr old gelding and at times struggles with founder. His founder besides his general care requires additional medication his needs are about $200/ month.
John is our patriarch. He's about 34-35 yrs old from what we can tell. He's retired, but still loves the attention he gets from little people. Although he's not ridden much (unless you're under 75#), he will always welcome a treat and a scratch.
Jack is a big boy and loves head scratches. He's also a little intimidating with his size, but don't let that fool you. He's a big softy.
Cowboy is a 18 yr old half Arabian gelding. He suffered a shoulder injury 7 years ago during a competition. His condition requires medication, supplements, and special farrier expenses. Cowboy needs about $400 per month to cover his needs and keep him pain free.
Rowdy is just what his name says. He's a pocket pony on the ground, but be careful if you throw a leg over. This boy is sensitive and loves to go! He's big and bold and loves to run.
LeRoy is one of the good ponies. He's not much for running, but enjoys taking care of little people. He will follow you around all day long, especially for a treat!
Princess is just what her name says. She's a big girl and a little bit of a diva. She's a walking horse with a big stride and loves to go for walks. She's also a bit of a beggar for some treats
